Awarded the Orange County Business Committee for the Arts Award in 2006 for its success in developing creative, effective partnerships with the Orange County business community.

Coming Up Taller Award

One of ten organizations nationally to be honored with the 2003 Coming Up Taller Award, which recognizes “outstanding community arts and humanities programs that celebrate the creativity of America’s young people,” sponsored by the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Audrey Nelson Community Development Achievement

Awarded in 1999 by the National Community Development Association, Saint Joseph Ballet was one of only six in the nation to receive the 1999 Audrey Nelson Community Development Achievement for “outstanding achievement in service to low-income persons and neighborhoods.”

Kresge Foundation

The Kresge Foundation awarded Saint Joseph Ballet a challenge grant of $600,000 in September, 1998 to help SJB increase its capacity to provide creative learning opportunities to more at-risk youth and families.

National “Point of Light” Honor

Honored in 1991 by President George Bush as a national "Point of Light" for its efforts which "provide a shining example of outstanding work on behalf of your community."

Dayton Hudson Foundation

After just two years of service, Saint Joseph Ballet was chosen by the Dayton Hudson Foundation as one of only six in a nation-wide search for model arts-for-youth organizations in 1985.  The competition included 75 organizations in California alone.

California Arts Council’s Highest Rating

Awarded the California Arts Council's highest possible rating for artistic quality and administrative excellence eight times.  The Council hailed Saint Joseph Ballet as "an exemplary program about training and empowerment that directly impacts the community."

Outstanding Community Service Awards

Eleven Disneyland and seven Register Charities Awards have been presented to Saint Joseph Ballet for its outstanding community service.
