Foundation and Corporate Giving

Foundations and corporations committed to improving the quality of life for low income students and youth and making a measurable impact on the academic and personal achievements of those in need are invited to support the work of The Wooden Floor.  In addition to providing essential general operating support, foundations and corporations may choose to direct their gifts to specific programs such as dance programs, academic and family services or the annual concert.

The Wooden Floor programs and operations are guided by a strategic plan created every three to five years with the active involvement of the Board of Directors, staff, parents, students, and long-standing community friends.  In addition, The Wooden Floor regularly conducts studies to evaluate the success of its programming on students’ personal growth and development.  Factors such as student retention, parental involvement, academic achievement, and the paths students take after high school and college graduation are carefully evaluated each year and inform the direction of future programming.
