Designers and Production Staff
Bruce Andrews (Sound Designer) is an experimental poet, sound designer, and political science professor and has performed and composed for dance, poets, and theatre. As Musical Director for Sally Silvers and Dancers, he has created compositions, collages, and performance mixes of music and texts for two decades.
Kate Edmunds (Scenic Designer) has created work for Berkeley Repertory, American Conservatory Theatre, Seattle Repertory, Steppenwolf, and the Manhattan Theatre Club. Kate teaches set design at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Scott Fraser (Sound Designer) is a Grammy-nominated recording engineer / producer and has recorded, mixed, or mastered over 500 albums, as well as having mixed thousands of live concerts throughout five continents. Since 1991 he has been sound designer for the Kronos Quartet.
James F. Ingalls (Lighting Designer) has designed seven concerts for Saint Joseph Ballet since 1996. Recent projects include San Francisco Ballet’s New Work Festival and King Arthur directed and choreographed by Mark Morris (New York City Opera).
Michael Jordan (Technical Director) has provided Technical Direction for several productions at Saint Joseph Ballet since 2006. A graduate of UC Riverside, Michael has also worked as a scenic technician and carpenter at local theme parks.
Tom Ontiverson (Lighting Designer) has designed lighting and/or projections for premiere works by Naomi Lizuka, Charles Mee Jr., and Jessica Hagedorn as well as chorography and compositions by Paul Dresher, Mark Grey, Yolande Snaith, and Allyson Greene. He has designed for projects in the Holland Festival, The International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven, and The Hungarian National Theater in Cluj.
Katherine Selig (Stage Manager) is the Principal Stage Manager for The Joffrey Ballet, and has also stage managed for San Francisco Ballet, Berkeley City Ballet, and Capacitor.
Ben Tusher (Production Director / Lighting Designer) is the Production Director for Saint Joseph Ballet where he has created lighting and scenic designs for more than a dozen commissioned dances presented by Saint Joseph Ballet since 2003. Ben holds an MFA in Design and has been an artist-in-residence and visiting assistant professor for the University of California, Riverside for the past eight years.
Jennifer Vaughan (Costume Designer) has designed for Saint Joseph Ballet since 1990. Additional credits include designs for Charles Schulz’s Ice Shows, the 1996 Summer Olympics, and HBO’s Against the Grain.
