Congratulations!

Saint Joseph Ballet Class of 2006

 

This past June, all 18 seniors in Saint Joseph Ballet’s class of 2006 graduated high school, and every one has enrolled in college for the fall – most the first in their families to do so.  At this pivotal point in their lives, many of these young adults are seizing an opportunity not available to their parents – one of a higher education.

 

Saint Joseph Ballet nurtures youth in this pursuit, knowing a higher education can open doors to bright and healthy futures.  Making a commitment to the youth it serves, Saint Joseph Ballet ensures its students have access to programs that will help them be well-informed, competitive college applicants. 

 

Students who participate with Saint Joseph Ballet for all four years of high school may also be eligible to receive Saint Joseph Ballet college scholarship awards of up to $2,000 per year for four years of college.  

 

At a time when nearly half of all Hispanics fail to graduate high school, and of those that do, only 16 percent are college ready1, Saint Joseph Ballet students are beating the odds.
