The Wooden Floor offers a series of academic programs to help place students on the college path early.  Once in high school, students are required to participate in our college preparatory programs to help them gain a competitive edge in the college application process and to become eligible for our college scholarships.   

The College Path begins in the 7^th grade.  Students at The Wooden Floor in grades 7-12 may participate in the College Tours and Career Speaker Series offered throughout the year.

College Prep Programs include College: Making it Happen! and College Fair Day, and are open to all high school students.  We offer Kaplan SAT Preparation courses in the summer and fall specifically for high school juniors and seniors, as well as the Academic Retreats in the fall and spring.

Academic Services for Seniors include personalized assistance in completing university entrance and financial aid applications. This includes a 5 week Personal Statement Writing Workshop which is offered every fall.
