Fieldtrips

Paulina De La Mora, age 14

When I heard that there was a field trip to go Ice Skating, I made sure I was one of the first to sign up. One of the reasons I wanted to go on this fieldtrip is because they say that if you do ballet, like I do, then you’re automatically good at ice skating.  Well, unfortunately, in my case, that wasn’t true because I kept falling.  It was still fun though because I got to meet a lot of new people that aren’t in my classes; people that I wouldn’t normally get to meet. So even though I fell a lot, I still had fun making new friends.

By offering a variety of fieldtrips throughout the year, Saint Joseph Ballet aims to open and broaden students’ worlds by exposing them to art, music, culture, and other fun and exciting events.

Through the generosity of many individuals and organizations, Saint Joseph Ballet offers around 20 fieldtrips a year, providing students and families with about 650 different opportunities such as a concert at the Arrowhead Pond, the New York City Ballet at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, or a foreign film at the local theater…
